Today (31 May 2024), we had to change the voices of your Karotz.

Hello! You haven't heard from us in a long time... until today. We saw in our logs that Microsoft is switching to new voices in their Text-To-Speech services. Perhaps you have already discovered this yourself, because your Karotz no longer had a voice for a few days. We fixed this today, Karotz now uses Microsoft's Neural Voices.

Something like this happened before, a long time ago. You can read more about Text-To-Speech in this blogpost about Amazon Polly or this blogpost about Acapela. Both articles are posted long ago, and we are proud we still are able to keep Karotz alive.

We hope that all Apps work as before now.
